It’s no wonder Gina Torres will receive the National Hispanic Media Coalition’s Image Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the positive portrayal of Latinos in media. As Jessica Pearson, Founding and Managing partner of the law firm Pearson Hardman on USA’s Suits, the Cuban-American actress shines brighter than the sun. In the show’s second season, she’s had to fight to maintain her managing partner status at the firm. And despite a setback, it looks like the final six episodes of the season will see her back on top.
