Winter TV Preview: Suburgatory

Suburgatory, ABC
Returns Wednesday, January 9 at 9:30/8:30c

Not since Shelley Morrison’s beloved character Rosario Salazar on NBC’s Will & Grace have we adored a Latina housekeeper as much as we love Bunnie Rivera’s character Carmen on ABC’s Suburgatory. It’s no wonder she was at the center of a custody fight (of sorts) between her divorced bosses for the first half of the season, a battle that even saw her taken to see the opera Carmen. And, we must admit, seeing her wrapped up in a box as a gift for Dallas (Cheryl Hines) and her daughter Dalia (Carly Chaikin) in the show’s Christmas episode even left us a little misty-eyed!

She's a pop culture junkie who watches way too much television, and she still hoards magazines.
