In its previous four seasons, Southland has featured handsome Latino actors like Kevin Alejandro, Amaury Nolasco and Laz Alonso in high-profile roles. And TNT’s LA police drama will once again feature another hot Latino in its upcoming fifth season. Part-Spanish actor Anthony Ruivivar – best known for his role as a paramedic in NBC’s long-running series Third Watch – has been cast in a season-long arc as Lucero, a veteran Los Angeles police officer and a Mexican American born and raised in East Los Angeles.
