It should be considered a crime that Sara Ramirez hasn’t earned an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Dr. Callie Torres on Grey’s Anatomy. The half-Mexican actress has been at the heart of many of the long-running medical drama’s most memorable storylines, including a head-on collision that leaves her critically injured and leads to the premature delivery of her baby, a heart-wrenching coming out scene with her father and a heart-breaking  scene with her mother. And, she was even primary vocalist for the show's musical episode, "Song Beneath the Song," in season seven.
