When Bunheads premiered on ABC Family last summer, Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rimes criticized producers for the lack of color on the ballerina dramedy. Well, that’s about to change this winter with the arrival of former So You Think You Can Dance winner Jeanine Mason. The Cuban-American dancer has landed a recurring role on the series. Mason and newcomer Niko Pepaj will play close-knit siblings, a well-traveled, educated and artistic duo new to the town of Paradise. And to that we say, “Bravo!”
