Winter TV Preview: Banshee

Banshee, Cinemax
Premieres on Friday January 11 at 10/9c

She’s played sweet and innocent roles on shows like Brothers & Sisters and October Road, but Odette Annable is about to get her mean on. The 27-year-old half-Cuban American actress will have a recurring role on Cinemax’s Banshee, a new drama series that follows an ex-con (Anthony Starr) who poses as a murdered sheriff in a small Pennsylvania Amish town. There he enforces his own kind of justice while developing plans to serve his own ulterior motive. Annable will portray a Native American assassin with a dubious past. Now that’s what we call a good girl gone bad!
