The MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) took place last night and our October cover girl Selena Gomez rocked the house! The 19-year-old part-Mexican singer/actress was the youngest person ever to host the annual awards ceremony, which celebrates the most popular music videos in Europe. This year’s MTV EMA took place in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
As the hostess, Gomez kicked off the show with a fiery bang. “Well… that’s a bit over cooked!” Gomez said as flames rose up around her in a circle on stage. “Hello everyone, I’m your host, Selena Gomez!” Gomez looked gorgeous the entire night, and rocked a dizzying array of outfits!
Part-Puerto Rican crooner Bruno Mars was also a winner last night. The 26-year-old took home two awards for Best Push and Best New. Mars also gave the eager audience an amazing performance of “Marry You” – complete with 60s-era finger snaps and his soulful voice.
