Our choice for coolest TV Mom is none other than Ugly Betty’s Hilda Suarez! Played by Ana Ortiz during Betty’s four year run (2006-2010) Hilda was mommy to super-fabulous Justin (Mark Indelicato). We love Hilda because she demonstrates the same amazing qualities that we see in our own mothers: A willingness to help others, acceptance of those who are different (especially when it comes to her son who was obviously gay) and remarkable strength in the face of great adversity. Despite becoming pregnant at a young age and losing her son’s father, Santos to a senseless act of violence, Hilda always maintained a healthy sense of humor. What's not to love about this woman?
