American Idol got its groove back!
Wednesday night, the top eight competitors from season 13 took to the stage to perform the songs they sang in their initial auditions. This was good news for the contestants and the audience, because the singers already knew these songs backwards and forwards.
As a result, American Idol delivered its strongest showing of the season, with all eight contestants singing their heart out to tunes by Aretha Franklin, Ed Sheeran, Adele, and more.
When Veronica Mars was canceled in 2007, faithful fans demanded a movie... and seven years later, they got one. Unfortunately, many amazing TV shows have failed to garner the ratings or raise the money necessary to keep them from the chopping block. Other successful shows simply ended before writers had a chance to wrap up all the loose ends. From Gilmore Girls to Ugly Betty, here are 10 TV shows that deserve a movie:
In the show Friends with Better Lives, Majandra Delfino gets to tackle the age-old question that many deal with: is the grass truly greener on the other side? The 33-year-old mother of two, who was born in Venezuela to a Cuban mother and Venezuelan father, stars alongside James Van Der Beek, Kevin Connolly and Brooklyn Decker in the new CBS comedy.
The past three years have been quite a whirlwind for Kevin Hernandez. Fresh off memorable movie roles in Jonah Hill’s The Sitter and Mel Gibson’s Get The Gringo, the 17-year-old actor has now landed his first series; playing the character of George on Fox’s coming-of-age comedy, Surviving Jack.
We caught up with Kevin in the busy week before the show’s premiere and he had plenty to share about his new show and his rising star status.
Good news for fans of El Rey Network's From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series!
According to Deadline, the new scripted series based on the cult classic film of the same name by El Rey co-founder, Robert Rodriguez, has been renewed for a second season after only airing for two weeks. The network has announced a 13-episode pick up for the new season.
Victor Rasuk is on a roll this year!
The 30-year-old Dominican American is starring in Godzilla (hitting theaters this summer) and was added to the cast of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Now Rasuk has been tapped to join the cast of a new CBS show from executive producer Kevin Williamson, reports Variety.
On Wednesday night, HBO held a Game of Thrones season 4 premiere viewing party for more than 7,000 fans in NYC.
During the premiere event, a Q&A session with Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin was held where he discussed the possibility of the show wrapping up with a feature film.
For the last five years, fans have tuned into FOX to watch Naya Rivera play an honest-to-the-point-of-being-rude lesbian cheerleader who finds her passion in singing with a bunch of misfits.
But speculation is rampant that the 27-year-old singer-actress’ days on the hit musical show "Glee" are counted and she won’t be returning for season 6.
Rivera fueled speculation and might have tipped her hand when she posted a message on Twitter hinting that she might be leaving the show.

HBO's Looking wrapped up its first season earlier this month, leaving us with the most bittersweet and three-dimensional portrayal of a gay biracial relationship on television since… well, ever. The show centers on Patrick (played by Jonathan Groff), an uptight game designer "looking" for a relationship; he eventually falls in lust with Richie (played by Raul Castillo), a scruffy Mexican barber with a tendency to play the bass to Maná songs while naked in bed. What could go wrong?
