According to National Geographic, Soledad O'Brien will be the next host of the National Geographic Bee. The CNN reporter will be taking over for Jeopardy's Alex Trebek, who retires this year. O'Brien, who's known for CNN documentaries like Black in America, told the New York Times she's forming her own production company (Starfish Media) and is excited to be a free agent and shop around her programs to other networks.
