Last week, Lourdes Leon and her diva mamá, Madonna, were spotted touring the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Madonna is Michigan born-and-bred, and formerly attended the Big 10 institution. Now, it looks like her 17-year-old Latina daughter could be following in her footsteps and become a Wolverine!

It’s no secret that today’s millennials are in a serious debt crisis, but it looks like Hispanic youth are coming out ahead of their peers!
According to a survey conducted by the PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. the average millennial carries about $27,800 in debt. Their Hispanic peers, however, carry an average of $18,000.

College seems to be getting pricier every year, and President Obama has proposed a plan to lower those rising costs, reports NBC Latino. NBC Latino reports that the number of colleges and universities recognized as Hispanic-Serving Institutions has increased from 311 in 2010-2011 to 356 in 2011-2012. The larget jump ever seen during a single year!
