Zoë Saldana seems to be carving a niche for herself in the sci-fi film department, and hard-core fans of the genre couldn’t be happier. The Star Trek star was recently nominated for two Scream awards, which honor the best in the sci-fi, fantasy, horror and comedy genres. "Eight out of the ten highest grossing films of all time are in the Scream genres, which is due to the incredible passion and loyalty of these fans," said Casey Patterson, executive producer of the awards show.

Ok, we are officially counting down the days until James Cameron’s Avatar is released in theaters on December 18th. The director debuted clips from his highly anticipated new 3-D film at the Cinema Expo in Amsterdam. The whole thing was very top secret and media wasn’t allowed to report on the screening, but people at the event posted anonymously online that the footage was "jaw-dropping" and "stunning.”

Not many women can pull off Pucci's sequined minidress, but two of our favorite stars did just that with beautiful results. At the Los Angeles premiere of Star Trek in April, Zoe Saldana wore the black-and-silver stunner with gorgeous strappy Brian Atwood heels and straight hair parted in the middle.
