Mexican-American actress, Jessica Alba recently shared how she managed to get her flawless bikini body back after just nearly five months since giving birth to daughter Haven Garner. The mother of two revealed to People.com that she has her daughters to thank for the quick slim down. “I'm running around after a 3 ½-year-old so that always keeps you on your toes,” said the 30-year-old movie star.

Yesterday was one of those days that not only did I not want to go to the gym, but also working my legs was out of the question. My two PICs (Partners In Crime for the gym), Jessy and Ray, weren’t around, so I had no choice but to work out alone. I walk upstairs to where all the machines are in the gym, get overwhelmed and take a deep breath. You must’ve thought someone was asking me to run a marathon!

While at home in Ecuador on vacation, my dad and I made a promise to each other: we are going to exercise regularly. Of course, I’m already doing that as part of the health challenge, but somehow making a promise to papi makes it all that more official—I can’t slack, especially since I know that he’s swimming his heart out three times a week for an hour.

So the last two weeks in NYC have been absolutely miserable and I hate to admit it, but I've totally fallen off with my workouts! Luckily, its supposed to be sunny this weekend and I'm going to use the respite to get my butt back into motion by taking a run in the park. Even though I've managed to keep the weight off without my regular workout routine for the last two weeks, I really miss the way that keeping my body active made me feel—especially the extra energy and the strength I had begun to build.
