As you all know a few months back I postponed my wedding date. As a result, I had to decide how I wanted to follow-up with my guests to notify them of the new date for my big day. I really didn’t want to do the website thing because I simply don’t like it, so I caved in and ordered some simple laser print invites. I felt it was important for the new invite to be complimentary to the original invite, so I made sure it was designed based off of what I’d already sent out.

Tonight on MTV Tr3s’ reality series, Quiero Mi Boda, we meet 25-year-old Jessyca and 28-year-old Osaze, a Texan couple who share the same religious faith but very different cultural customs. Jessyca was born in Mexico and Osaze was born in Washington, D.C. to Nigerian parents and because their respective cultures mean a lot to them, figuring out how to mesh both backgrounds on their special day proved a challenge. I recently found out that my sis and mom are planning my bridal shower and I’m very excited for the festivities begin! I’m even more excited about the dress I intend on wearing; it is THE perfect dress for a bridal shower, in fact I have had the dress in my closet for a couple of months now, just waiting to be worn on this particular day.
