There was a lot going on during the reception – lots of tears, laughs, dancing, etc. and my wedding photographer Teresa Horgan captured it all! I hope you can get a sense of the love that was in that room that day because I did and I’ll never forget it! As you read this, Hector and I are officially on our honeymoon in Thailand and Hong Kong and when I return you’ll see my last set of photos and experience of my life after the wedding.

I have a very big family with lots of cousins around my age and older, so it seems like there is always someone having a baby. I have witnessed my sister, brother, and several cousins have children (each of few times), but I was never included in that roster since I was the “single” girl.

The last couple of months have consisted of planning a wedding, having a wedding, going on a honeymoon, and then traveling for over the past two weeks to four different cities for work. Needless to say, it's been a whirlwind of events. It wasn’t until this week that I finally felt like things finally started to slowly get back to normal— and then Hector (the hubby) reminded me that I have to send out our Thank You notes for the wedding!

Our cover girl La La Anthony is very loyal to her friend Kim Kardashian. When confronted with rumors about the validity of her BFF's wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries, she quickly shut the convo down. In a recent interview with HDNet’s Naughty But Nice Rob, the 32-year-old Boricua television personality set the record straight about her reality TV star friend’s nuptials.

When you decide to plan a wedding it should be to celebrate your love, but some people hope to make it an "investment"—meaning they spend money putting together this special event hoping to make the money back (if not turn a profit).
Unfortunately, from my experience this is not the case. Nowadays, with so many different types of weddings, proper gift giving etiquette has been skewed. I only found out about the whole “etiquette” portion of a wedding planning once I began planning my own. Honestly, I’m still confused about it, especially in the gift giving department.

Hector and I have been living together for about 3 years. Throughout this time we’ve gone through our share of fights, celebrations, and compromising—we’ve shared our thoughts, our dreams, and our life experiences, and have been committed to one another every step of the way.

I’m back from Aruba and it was the perfect getaway, so much so that we extended our stay for a few more days defeating the purpose of a “mini-moon” (a short honeymoon vacation). It was just too good to leave, we relaxed at the beach, celebrated, did snuba (a combo of snorkel and scuba), shared romantic dinners, and even found a decent salsa club to get our dance on.

I got married last weekend and I couldn’t be happier… I’m positively glowing! A few days before the wedding, it felt as if I had saved up all the stress that most brides experience through the wedding planning process for the last few days. There were so many last minute things I needed to do and small details like menus and ceremony programs to handle.
