Mexican soap star and actor Sebastián Ligarde has recently come out as a gay man, telling the media that he has been in a stable relationship with another man for more than 20 years.
As we celebrate June as LGBT Pride Month, Ligarde's news made us think of the Latino celebs who are prime examples of what it means to be out and proud. These are the faces of gay pride in the Latino community. How do you show your pride?

President Barack Obama made history when he talked about gay rights in his inaugural speech — proof that support for same-sex marriage is growing. But the change of attitude is even more apparent in the usually socially conservative Latino community than among the general public. In 2006, 56 percent of Latinos opposed same-sex marriage. Now 52 percent say they support it. Times are changing, and so are our feelings about our gay hermanos y hermanas.

Same-sex marriage talk has been buzzing this morning after Republican Senator Rob Portman announced his support of it. According to NBC News, the GOP politician reversed his previous position on issue after his son came out as gay.
