We are sad to report that part-Dominican star Tristan Wilds is suffering from health complications. According to E! Online, the 90210 star is taking a temporary leave and will not appear on several episodes of the hit CW show.

We hear it all of the time from Latino stars: In order for Latinos to continue making progress in Hollywood, Latin actors have to be able to play any role—not just Latino roles. Fortunately for us, there are already many Latino stars who have shown Hollywood that we're capable of doing just that. Here are nine Latino stars who play non-Latin roles all of the time (brilliantly we might add), and are showing Hollywood casting execs that they're not "great Latino actors" but rather great actors...period!
