The driver of the eight-carriage train which derailed in Spain and killed 79 passengers has been arrested and charged.
According to NBC News, Francisco Garzon, who has been under arrest since Thursday, is being charged with 79 counts of homicide and numerous offences of bodily harm, all of them committed through professional recklessness.

This tragic and horrifying moment is being reported as Spain's worst rail crash in decades, killing at least 78 people and leaving more than 140 injured.
According to Fox News Latino, the conducter of this passenger train, which derailed and crashed on Wednesday, said he was traveling at more than 118 miles per hour. That is more than double the allowed speed limit of 50 miles per hour.
