This year, Dexter star Aimee Garcia is hosting Thanksgiving dinner for her family in Los Angeles. “They are from Chicago and we are having Thanksgiving at my place, so the pressure is on!” Garcia tells Latina.com exclusively.
The half-Mexican, half-Puerto Rican star says she’s taken care of the important stuff—like making sure the tube is ready for her dad. “I will make sure my TV works so my dad can watch football,” she says.

With a few nationally-recognized restaurants under his belt, not to mention a slew of cookbooks, oh and did we mention all those shows on the Food Network (and a new one on Spanish-language network Utilisima), you would think that famed chef Aarón Sánchez would pretty much have a lock on the kitchen in his family for the holidays! But, you would be forgetting that his mother is the wonderful Zarela Martinez, also known as the inventor of upscale Mexican cuisine.
