Rafael Nadal won his sixth French Open title yesterday, defeating Swiss tennis star Roger Federer with a score of 7-5, 7-6(3), 5-7, 6-1, the Associated Press (AP) reports. With this latest win, Nadal matched former Swedish player Bjorn Borg’s record for most French Open titles.

20-year-old Argentinean phenom Juan Martín Del Potro stunned the world last night when he defeated the number one ranked Roger Federer in the final match of the U.S. Open tennis tournament.
After winning both Wimbledon and the French Open, and with second ranked Rafael Nadal ailing from a injury, Federer seemed a shoe-in for his sixth consecutive U.S. Open win. But Del Potro managed to stop him right in his tracks.
