Whoever said big names don’t make time for the little people should spend a day with couple Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. The multi-talented part-Mexican and her famous beau are two celebrity big wigs who take the time to appreciate their devotees. Recently, the lovebirds took time out of their hectic schedules to pause and pose with some fans, according to Hollywood Life.

Every year, thousands of high school students take advanced placement exams; however, the shocker stems from who isn’t taking them. According to a report done by The College Board released last week, 60 percent of students who are said to have AP potential didn’t take any AP exams, including many Latino, black and Native American teens. “AP” potential is a likelihood of 70 percent or more that a student will achieve a 3 out of 5 or higher on an AP exam according to their scores on the PSAT/NMSQT.

Selena Gomez & The Scene are parting ways, for the moment anyway. Part-Mexican Gomez and the members of her band The Scene, drummer Gregory Garman, bass guitarist Joey Clement and keyboard player Dane Forrest, will be going their separate ways while Gomez pursues other avenues of entertainment.

We previously reported on the inspirational story of Mercedes Ramirez Johnson, who survived a tragic plane crash in 1995. Johnson lost her parents in the accident and suffered severe injuries. Heartbreaking news for Selena Gomez and her family. According to E! Online, the part-Mexican singer/actress canceled two concerts scheduled this past weekend because her mother reportedly suffered a miscarriage. The website is reporting that Gomez’s rep cited a “family emergency” as the reason for the concerts being canceled.
