Tourism to the United States’ southern neighbor, Mexico, has energetically rebounded over the past few years. Hotel rooms and beaches are filling up again with international visitors after numbers dwindled as a direct result of the country’s drug war. While the violence unfortunately continues in some parts of the country, security and spirits have all-around improved. The U.S. has acknowledged the increased safety, as well, in lowering its official travel warnings to the country, while the Mexican government has enthusiastically launched tourism promotion campaigns.

It’s hard for this Modern Family star to not look sexy, even when she’s wearing a casual get-up, so it’s no surprise we all want to steal the colombiana’s style.

Every summer, we at Latina hear about so many great indie film festivals and the amazing Latino-made films featured, so we decided to create a list to share so that you can get the inside track. The Los Angeles Latino Film Festival just wrapped with the premiere of Cowboys vs. Aliens (starring one of our fave actresses, Ana de la Reguera) which opens nationwide today, but a ton of festivals featuring Latino films and Latino actors will be popping up all around the country from now until Fall.

The biggest trend off the Summer 2011catwalks: BOLD color.
On hips, lips and even fingertips – supermodels were dripping in saturated color. From emerald green, electric lilac and turquoise to shocking fuchsia, punchy orange and coral, the runway was a rainbow.
The time is now to experiment with ocean blue and lime green, hot pink and salmon, tangerine and tomato.
Pop one hue, color block two or mix and match many.
And for head-to-toe beauty – rock a rich multi-dimensional haircolor to complete the look!
Not sure how?

Just because we haven’t seen former Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler out and about as much as we used doesn’t mean she’s lost one bit of her style. Sigler was recently graced the red carpet looking every last bit the fashionista we know she is for The 29th Annual Gay & Lesbian Film Festival screening of Drop Dead Diva, which she is guest starring in for the season finale on September 18th.
