Sofia Vergara is starting out the year right! Comcast recently announced Vergara as their spokesperson for their cross-platform entertainment experience, XFinity TV in Spanish. XFinity TV offers programming with Spanish-language choices on TV, On Demand and online. As part of their offering, Comcast also introduced a Spanish-language entertainment portal which offer hundreds of Spanish movies and shows.

Sandra Bullock (last year's Oscar winner for Best Actress) presented the award for Best Actor at tonight's Academy Awards. And even though we were hoping she would say the words "Javier Bardem," Bullock called out the predicted frontrunner instead: Colin Firth, who played King George VI of Britain in The King's Speech.

It's been months since Selena Gomez recorded her hit song, A Year Without Rain in español, and now the 18-year-old singer has announced (via her Twitter page) that she's working on a Spanish-language album. "Can't wait for ya'll to hear the Spanish record :-) it's sounding so cool," tweeted Gomez.
