—Peruvian photographer Mario Testino, who shot Kate Middleton and Prince William’s engagement photos, will be the official photographer for model Kate Moss’ wedding, The Daily reports. According to Fashionista.com, Testino told the newspaper that he wants to “capture the happiness that Kate is going through at the moment.”

During its upfront presentation in New York City today, Univision is unveiling expanded content with its key partner Televisa across all television and interactive platforms as well as nearly 500 hours of original, Spanish-language programming in primetime and late night. And that’s not all—the Spanish-language giant is also announcing three new networks titled Univision TL Novelas, Univision Deportes, and Univision 24/7, which will focus exclusively on telenovelas, sports, and news, respectively, and bow in 2012.

Executives from the TV Standards & Practices board in Mexico filed multiple complaints this week about the violent nature and drug trafficking plot lines in La Reina del Sur. The boards main complaint is that the show airs too early and that La Reina del Sur should be moved to a later time due to the content.

Chances are you are watching Telemundo's telenovela phenomenon La Reina del Sur, well, because, pretty much everyone is!
The telenovela is the most expensive ever in the history of the Spanish-language TV channel and it looks like the investment is paying off. La Reina del Sur has been smashing ratings records left and right (dominating programs across the board)—even English-language media is beginning to take notice.

Looks like returning to telenovelas for La Reina del Sur was a smart move after all for Kate del Castillo. The new show is ratings gold and has raked in so many viewers night after night that even English-language programs are noticing. As a matter of fact, the Telemundo soap opera (the most expensive in the channel's history) was featured recently in a special Today show segment!

Sofia Vergara is starting out the year right! Comcast recently announced Vergara as their spokesperson for their cross-platform entertainment experience, XFinity TV in Spanish. XFinity TV offers programming with Spanish-language choices on TV, On Demand and online. As part of their offering, Comcast also introduced a Spanish-language entertainment portal which offer hundreds of Spanish movies and shows.
