'The Bold & the Beautiful' Gets First Mexican Actor: 22 Latino Soap Opera Stars

It's been 26 years since The Bold and the Beautiful has been on the air, but 2013 will mark the first time the soap opera will feature a Mexican actor.

According to Fox News Latino, the show began airing in 1987 and has won various awards, including the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series each year between 2009 and 2011.

Just a few months after announcing their separation, Kate del Castillo took some initiative and officially filed for divorce from her husband, Mexican actor, singer and Pan Am actor Aaron Diaz.

The actress presented the papers in a California court on Nov. 23. The filing establishes that the divorce is mutually agreed upon, that they have no children between them and that any assets acquired in the marriage were divided in private and in equal parts.
