After hearing about Shakira and Antonio de la Rua's split this morning, we were particularly struck by something the Colombian singer mentioned in her post to fans about the split.
"Antonio continues to oversee and conduct my business and career interests as he has always done," Shakira wrote. "We move forward as partners, developing projects together, working hand in hand and in close communication."

Although sources close to Shakira and her ex-boyfriend Antonio de la Rua are insisting that there was no drama involved in the longtime couple's decision to part ways in August, we find the timing of the split a little fishy, especially since it happened around the time that rumors were swirling about a possible affair between the Colombian singer and Spanish football star Gerard Pique.

The last round of voting will be for your favorite song of 2010! We had Shakira's global anthem "Waka, Waka," a rockin' first single off of Juanes's new album P.A.R.C.E., a lovely duet between Juan Luis Guerra and Enrique Iglesias (with an adorable video to match) and "Bon Bon," a fist-bumping dance anthem from everyone's favorite club king, Pitbull.

We love it when our favorite musicians join forces to collaborate on a song. We imagine them jamming together in a studio and building on each other’s talents until something magical comes out. And while most of the following musical partnerships may not have happened quite like that, we were still blown away by the results.

As if Shakira hasn't already accomplished a lot, now the Colombian pop star can add children's book author to her long list of triumphs!
Shaki teamed up with the folks behind Nickelodeon's hit TV show Dora the Exlorer to publish a new book in their series called World School Day Adventure. The book follows young Dora and her sidekick Boots as they rush to deliver school supplies to children around the globe in celebration of World School Day.
