— According to PeoplePets.com, Part-Mexican actress/singer Selena Gomez’s new puppy, Baylor, was sick recently, but now seems to be doing much better. Baylor likely swallowed some rocks, which led to his severe illness. Gomez adopted the husky mix from a shelter in Winnipeg, Canada.

Calle 13 dominated the 12th annual Latin Grammy Awards tonight, which were held at the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas.
The Puerto Rican urban music duo won nine out of the record 10 awards they were up for in the early part of the show, and managed to win awards in three different genre categories—tropical, alternative and urban—with wins for Best Tropical Song, Best Short Form Music Video and Best Alternative Song, co-written by Rafa Arcaute. Calle 13's wins came from their fourth CD, “Entren Los Que Quieran" (Everybody is Welcome).

Puerto Rican hip-hop duo Calle 13 opened the Latin Grammy Awards with their hit song "Latinoamerica," which frontman Rene Perez dedicated to Latin Americans everywhere. "May this transport you to your roots, your streets... and may you feel it here in your chest," said Perez.
