We love us the back-stabbing, nail-biting drama of the CW's hit soap Gossip Girl,
but we couldn't help but notice that the characters on the screen were
a bit too vanilla for our taste. So we decided to shake things up on the
Upper East Side by recasting the show with all Latino actors. Hey, we
have color TVs for a reason, right?

Don't expect Demi Lovato to go the way of most Young Hollywood. The Disney star and musician is defying expectation with a new album called Don't Forget—“I think it will be more rock than pop and than what people expect,” she says—and a fresh attitude towards celebrity life.

Selena Gomez must be getting used to the Hollywood life by now—after all, she has a hit show and movie, an upcoming album, she's dating a Jonas Brother and even has to deny it to the tabloids. Ana Ortiz, Selena Gomez and Roselyn Sanchez all showed up at the ALMA Awards with a romantic side-bun that softened their faces and showed off their swan-like necks. Latina.com asked Amy Winer, a Latina hairstylist from Epic Salon in Ventura, California (818-986-2034), for a step-by-step instructional on recreating this camera-ready up-do. “I’ve done this look a lot for special events and award shows,” says Winer, who recently styled the hair for a Baby Phat fashion show. “It’s really a simple up-do that anyone can easily do on herself.”

It's been a busy week for Latin award ceremonies--first the ALMAs and now the Imagen Awards. We're psyched of course, because it gives us more red carpet looks to fawn over...or perhaps critique?

The stars came out in their red-carpet worthiest digs last night for the Imagen Foundation Awards, honoring the crème de la creme of Latinos in the entertainment industry.
Not surprisingly, we learned that everyone loves Ugly Betty, which snagged Best Primetime Series and Tony Plana as Best Supporting Actor and also took home a Lifetime Achievement Award. However, we’re massively confused as to how Christina Milian, who apparently starred in some show called Snowglobe, beat America Ferrera for Best TV Actress.

Dozens of Hollywood's biggest celebrities—Latino and otherwise—stepped out on the red carpet for the ALMA awards last night. Host/producer Eva Longoria Parker dazzled in an array of gowns, but her best accessory was definitely her husband Tony Parker.

It's officially war, bitches! Kevin Jonas, the eldest of the Jonas Brothers trio, took a firm stance in the Selena/Demi vs. Mandy/Miley battle on Sunday, but showing off a T-shirt saying "Team Demi and Selena" to waiting paparazzi outside of his New York City hotel room.
