Selena Gomez won’t be making a trip to the Land Down Under in 2014. The 21-year-old singer has cancelled the Australian and Asian leg of her tour, telling fans that she needs to focus on herself.
“My fans are so important to me, and I would never want to disappoint them,” the singer said in a statement. “But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be.”

Gomez, 21, joined Lovato during a visit to a sober living home recently as moral support, TMZ reports. These homes are used by recovering addicts, and serve as an interim environment between rehab and their former lives.
