We were so excited to find out that Kate Middleton decided to wear our favorite new nail trend—blending colors— on her wedding day. According to PEOPLE, the newly anointed Duchess of Cambridge was treated to a luxurious manicure by her mother-in-law Camilla Parker Bowles by celebrity manicurist Marina Sandoval of Jo Hansford Salon in London.
To create Kate’s neutral look, Sandoval blended two colors, Bourjois Rose Lounge and Essie's #423 Allure.

It was 30 years ago but I remember it as clear as yesterday. I was eight years old and at my grandmother's house in Brazil. She woke us up early to watch the royal wedding. I remember seeing Princess Diana emerge from the glass coach like Cinderella. She was a beautiful bride and that enormous dress and train took my breath away.

Recently there was a dry run for the arrival of the wedding with a Kate Middleton look-alike in tow. It is said that she will arrive in a car surrounded with about one thousand members of the British military on their horses and the newly minted royal couple will leave in a horse and carriage for their “first” kiss. Needless to say, Kate’s going to make a grand entrance, as it should be, since it is a royal wedding and millions of viewers will be watching. It brought up a question I’ve have been asking myself for months now: Should I have a grand entrance?
