I don’t blame you for not having rushed to the theaters back in December to watch Seven Pounds; it had a lot of competition at the time (p.s. is Slumdog ever going to go away?). But don’t sleep on catching the Gabrielle Muccino (who also directed The Pursuit of Happyness)-directed flick on DVD starting tomorrow.

Growing up in my house, I was never actually spanked or hit or put in time out. There was plenty of threatening, but I always knew better than to go too far. Somehow, I just always managed to listen to what my parents said. I know. I was a total freak. Some parents however, are forced to use unique methods to get their kids to listen and behave. Take Rosario Dawson for example.

Rihanna and Rosario both choose red lips and retro waves to complement their curve-hugging Dolce & Gabbana gowns. Rihanna wore it in emerald green to the 2007 World Music Awards in Monaco, and Rosario wore it in silver to the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles. So you tell us!

Anyone catch Rosario Dawson hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend? We have to admit, the laughs were few and far between--but it wasn't the star's fault! The skits were particularly uninspired this time (the opener, which featured Rosario as the host of a hip-hop learning show for kids, felt more post-Weekend Update filler). Maybe the loss of Amy Poehler is finally starting to sink in.

Last night, the best and brightest Latino stars came out to celebrate the inauguration of President Elect Barack Obama. The Latino Inaugural Gala, co-hosted by Rosario Dawson's Voto Latino organization and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) garnered some serious star power. The list of celebs was a mile long and included, George Lopez, Luis Fonsi, and Lila Downs.

Politically minded Rosario Dawson will host Saturday Night Live this weekend, just a day before her organization Voto Latino is set to stage the Latino Inaugural Ball in Washington DC. This is a match made in political heaven, as Rosario probably helped Obama with Voto Latino just about as much as SNL did with Tina Fey's satirical impressions of Sarah Palin!
