Last night, the best and brightest Latino stars came out to celebrate the inauguration of President Elect Barack Obama. The Latino Inaugural Gala, co-hosted by Rosario Dawson's Voto Latino organization and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) garnered some serious star power. The list of celebs was a mile long and included, George Lopez, Luis Fonsi, and Lila Downs.

Politically minded Rosario Dawson will host Saturday Night Live this weekend, just a day before her organization Voto Latino is set to stage the Latino Inaugural Ball in Washington DC. This is a match made in political heaven, as Rosario probably helped Obama with Voto Latino just about as much as SNL did with Tina Fey's satirical impressions of Sarah Palin!

The stars are aligning for President-Elect Barack Obama's inaugural festivities! Pop star Paulina Rubio and salsero Marc Anthony, who just helped celebrate the inauguration of Puerto Rico's new governor, will both perform as headliners at the Latino Inaugural Gala on January 18 in D.C. Celebs including Rosario Dawson, Tony Plana and Yerba Buena's Cucu Diamantes are slated to make an appearance as well.

Everyone knows that Will Smith and Rosario Dawson are super cool with each other. In a recent interview with New York magazine Rosario talks about how impressed she was by Smith's dedication to the role as IRS agent Ben Thomas in their new film Seven Pounds. At times she even found herself wondering if she was talking to her friend Will, or his character Ben, and apparently she wasn;t the only one who noticed.

Rosario Dawson, working the press junket for her new film Seven Pounds coming out on Friday, told reporters that she recently picked up the Twilight book series and couldn't put it down. "It's like crack cocaine," Dawson told People, "I read it for 10 hours straight until I finished it," joked the actress.
Apparently, it is her father who is going to endure the brunt of the negative affects of her addiction.
