Actress Alexa Vega, 22, was married on October 10, 2010 to producer Sean Covel. It was an intimate affair held in her now-hubby's hometown of Lead, North Dakota. Vega, best known for her role as Carmen Cortez in the Spy Kids movies, was walked down the aisle by Robert Rodriguez, who produced and directed the wildly successful franchise.

The buzz behind Machete is growing and we got our hands on this sneak peek of Robert Rodriguez's "Mexploitation" flick so you can see what's in store for you when you head to the theaters this holiday weekend. After producing this summer’s Predators reboot, bad boy Texican filmmaker Robert Rodriguez is back with Machete, starring tough-guy Danny Trejo as a double-crossed ex-Mexican federale. With Rodriguez’s trademark over-the-top violence and butt-kicking chicks and its "We-didn’t-cross-the-border; the-border-crossed-us" take on the immigration issue, the movie is bound to create controversy. When we spoke to Rodriguez, though, he insisted it was all in the name of giving moviegoers a much needed good time.

We caught up with Michelle Rodriguez on the red carpet of the New York International Latino Film Festival for the premiere of her new film Tropico de Sangre. Rodriguez stars in the film as Minerva Mirabal, one of the inspiring Mirabal sisters in the Dominican Republic who dared to defy the ruthless dictator Rafael Trujillo—which eventually lead to their assassination in a sugar field.
