I cannot believe this cute Venezuelan bistro has been around for three years and I’ve been missing out! I’ve noticed Pasita before, but given the location between Greenwich Village and the Meat Packing District, I was always passing it while searching out the newest hot spot restaurant, which inevitably cost me an arm and a leg.

Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, St. Lucia
When I was in St. Lucia and found out that I would be having breakfast with the Minister of Tourism I figured we would head to some chi–chi spot, but to my surprise we ended up at a small open–air bistro in the popular Rodney Bay.

El Salvador is one of those places, and it was refreshing to sample a little taste of home from this wonderful country.

Listen up ladies! Super Bowl is soon approaching and with all the excitement of the new commercials, parties, and oh yeah, the game, there's also the concern with all the nasty fatty food commonly reserved for the big game day. Pepperoni pizza, nachos, buffalo wings—I already feel like I’ve gained a few pounds just talking about it, yuck.

Live Music: Sat and Sun Brunch
It was my bff’s soon-to-be birthday and she was looking for a chilled out Sunday brunch place, with music we can shake our booties to, so I suggested the recently opened spot Miss Favela.
