There’s always a ton of hype surrounding New York Fashion Week. We know you’re probably thinking, “Why should I care about designer runway clothes that only celebrities can afford?” Well, you are only partially right. While Fashion Week may seems like a place for high-society snobs to gather around and obsess about haute couture, it is also the place where trends are set for seasons to come.

Latin heritage: Half Samoan and Half El Salvadorean
Where’d you get your outfit? My sweater is my mom’s, which I think she got at a mom and pop clothing store. The shirt and the skirt are from H&M, and this is a Coach purse.
I see that you have your hair in an updo. Yeah, I teased it. I’ve been doing that since college. I don’t like it to be flat. Because I work in an office, I don’t like for it to get in the way.

Breakdown your outfit for us: I got the pieces from Fashion Source, a shop on Melrose and Forever 21. And I got this gigantic bag somewhere downtown. I don't remember the name of the store.
Who are your favorite designers? Well, my sandals are from Michael Kors, so I like him.
Who's your favorite Latina celebrity style icon? Eva Mendes. She's classic.

Break down your outfit: These slacks are my mom's. They're really comfortable and nice to wear to work. This top is my mom's also. I don't know where she got it. It's kinda vintage. And this other top, I got it at H&M. I like feeling really relaxed at work. This necklace belongs to my sister's friend. I don't wear my clothing. I like wearing other people's clothes! This bag is from JC Penney.
