Rahm Emanuel's Removal May Pave the Way for First Latino Mayor of Chicago

Now that former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel is temporarily out of the race for the mayor of Chicago, there is an opening for the Latino candidates in the race. Emanuel, a heavy favorite for the positiion, was forced to suspend his race when an Illinois Appeals Court ruled that his name can't be on the ballot due to residency issues. The Associated Press reported that a lawyer for Emanuel will appeal the ruling.
