I have to admit, I haven’t been following Luis Fonsi’s meteoric rise very closely, but after last night’s Premios Juventud, I’m jumping on the bandwagon. The Puerto Rican balladeer snagged 10 out of the 13 award nominations he received—the most ever in the PJ’s history. To prove his worth as this year’s “Red Hot Artist” (that was one of the categories), he performed “Llueve por dentro” on a stage that was lit by flames and later rained on for a body hugging wet-shirt song finale that brought out the 13-year-old girl in me.

Reggaeton's duo dinámico, Wisin y Yandel, was the big winner at last night's Premios Juventud in Miami, scooping up four awards for "My Favorite Video," "CD to Die For," "Favorite Urban Artist" and a new category, "Favorite Ringtone" (when will English-language shows get smart enough to pick up this category?) It was a also a big night for Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin and Aventura, who followed WY closely with three awards each.
