At first we were just shamelessly jumping on the baby rumor bandwagon with respect to Mariah Carey, but now she's giving us good reason to speculate!

Hola, fellow Mamis! My name is Carla and I'm a 27 year old Cuban Filipina American and where as most young women my age gab about late night cocktails, killer outfits and juicy sex gossip, my daily updates revolve around late night breastfeeding, poopy diapers and missing bobos (or pacifiers to some). In less than a year, I got hitched, knocked up and became responsible for another human being…oh and now, just 13 short months later, I found out that I'm pregnant again!

Does Mariah Carey have something to hide? The typically under dressed star was photographed while vacationing with hubby Nick Cannon in Mexico, and because she's wearing...wait for it!.. layers of clothing, gossip hounds are now abuzz over the possibility that Mimi may be with child.

We’ve seen those adorable mother-daughter photos, but we didn’t know quite how inseparable Salma Hayek and Valentina Paloma were until just now. The star recently confessed to London’s The Times that she's totally hooked on breastfeeding now 13-month old Valentina. “I’m like an alcoholic,” says Salma. “It’s like, I don’t care if I cry, I don’t care if I’m fat, I’m just gonna do it for one more week, one more month, and then, when I see how much good it is doing her, I can’t stop. Eet’s a very powerful thing.”

Now that you're pregnant, you've probably heard lots of advice about things you should and shouldn't be doing. A lot of times in Latino culture, these beliefs are based on traditional superstitions. Abuelita
may take them quite seriously, and these old beliefs are a part of our cultural heritage—but, they can also give us a good laugh!

“God, I’m fat. I need to go on a diet.”
Children, especially girls, are constantly bombarded with messages about how they should look. Don’t contribute to the problem and potentially set off a lifetime of problems with negative body image. Talk about a healthy eating plan, but stay away from the word “diet.” Always stress the value of being healthy rather than being thin.
