The U.S. Census Bureau released a data visualization gallery to highlight the distribution of the Latino population by specific origin throughout the United States.
The census mapped 22 different groups of origin for those who identified as Hispanic or Latino on the 2010 census. According to the maps, Mexico ranks as the country of origin with the highest population number in the U.S.

It's sad to say that images such as the one above are largely increasing on the beautfiul island of Puerto Rico.
According to Fox News Latino, La Isla del Encanto's homeless population has risen immensely in only two years due to an ongoing economic crisis which includes an unemployment rate of 14 percent. This rate is currently higher than any U.S. state.

We just may be! America is getting browner and browner—not only population-wise, but also culturally and politically.
