When former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton married her longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky this Saturday, the bride wasn't the only one who looked radiant in her dress. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was stunning in a custom gown by Oscar de la Renta.
The Dominican designer, who is a long-time friend of Clinton and often dresses her for formal events, created a raspberry degrade embroidered silk gazar gown. The deep, rich shade of Clinton's mother of the bride dress complimented her daughter's sparkly Vera Wang gown.

No one knows which designer(s) is dressing Barack, Michelle, Sasha and Malia Obama for this weekend's inaugural festivities, but we do know who will be responsible for Hillary Clinton's look: Oscar De La Renta. In an interview with Barbara Walters, the legendary Dominican designer says that his longtime client, who is now the Secretary of State-designate, will wear "a very, very beautiful dress" of his making.

Dominican beauty (and future Lancôme spokesmodel) Arlenis Sosa Peña was the star at Oscar de la Renta's spring 2009 show, kicking off the runway in a blue and gray maillot and closing it out in a silver column dress. Sosa Peña, who has walked in just about every major show of the season, is a favorite of De la Renta's.
