The iconic designer recently displayed his new 2013 Spring Collection in a Bryant Park showroom, which was nothing less than spectacular. Models were seen in bold designs with electric color schemes and demure plaid prints. Some of them were even spotted rocking bright neon streaks in their hair. When Ana de la Reguera showed up at our 15th Anniversary party in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, we asked the stunning Mexican actress what being Latina means to her. “Here in this country, it makes you different and special,” said de la Reguera, who was born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico.
The actress added that her Latino heritage is something she wears proudly. “It’s like a flag that you bring with you all the time. It’s a positive thing and it’s something you want to be proud of," she said.

Considering this year’s boldly colored balloon-like skirts, flowing fringe dresses, and happy prints, there’d be plenty of fashion for Oscar de la Renta to talk about after his spring show. But, according to WWD, he was focused on the hair. “Every single girl who came to see me had hair that was plastered to her head,” he explained. “It was so lacquered it was like cement. I said to them, ‘If you have a boyfriend, he wouldn’t want to touch your head with hair like that.’”
