When Ana de la Reguera showed up at our 15th Anniversary party in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, we asked the stunning Mexican actress what being Latina means to her. “Here in this country, it makes you different and special,” said de la Reguera, who was born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico.
The actress added that her Latino heritage is something she wears proudly. “It’s like a flag that you bring with you all the time. It’s a positive thing and it’s something you want to be proud of," she said.

Considering this year’s boldly colored balloon-like skirts, flowing fringe dresses, and happy prints, there’d be plenty of fashion for Oscar de la Renta to talk about after his spring show. But, according to WWD, he was focused on the hair. “Every single girl who came to see me had hair that was plastered to her head,” he explained. “It was so lacquered it was like cement. I said to them, ‘If you have a boyfriend, he wouldn’t want to touch your head with hair like that.’”

At the launch for his latest fragrance at his gorgeous country home in Kent, Connecticut, fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, who celebrated his 79th birthday on July 22, admitted that his experience with cancer inspired his gorgeous new scent, Live In Love.
"it's given me a warning to fully appreciate life, love, and nature," said the iconic half-Dominican, half-Puerto Rican designer, who had been diagnosed earlier this year and is now cancer-free. "The name really represents my life now. It's about loving yourself and loving life."

Nina Garcia is a tastemaker and style expert who decides what’s trendy (and what’s not) on Lifetime’s hit reality show, Project Runway. The Colombian journalist has also written four best-selling fashion books, held the title of Fashion Director at top fashion magazines like Elle and Marie Claire, and at her Madison Avenue home in New York City—she has a walk-in closet that overlooks the beautiful clothing in Oscar de la Renta's store.
