Chilean Olympic weightlifter Elizabeth Poblete gave birth to a premature baby boy without ever knowing she was pregnant. Poblete, 22, lives in Brazil and was training when she went into labor. She says she was not feeling well, but had no idea she was expecting a child.
The baby was born on on Dec. 8, three months early, and is currently in intensive care. Poblete was preparing for a competition when her son was born, weighing just 2 and half pounds and measuring 14 inches.

It was a close battle between Madrid and Rio de Janeiro as the final vote neared, but the International Olympic Committee announced today that Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will host the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is going up against President Obama in an effort to convince the International Olympic Committee to see things his way. Both leaders will be in Copenhagen, Denmark this Friday in an effort to convince the committee that their respective cities—Rio for Lula, and Chicago for Obama—would serve as the best host of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Other cities in the running include Madrid and Tokyo.

She may have traded red carpets and wild parties for time at home with her daughter Honor Marie and husband Cash Warren, but Jessica Alba has been anything but bored. "I don't know about you all but Cash and I have been glued to the Olympics," she wrote on her MySpace blog, titled "What an Amazing Opening Ceremony!"
"How amazing was the opening ceremony?!?" she continued. "I still don't know how they coordinated 2008 people to move in perfect sync."
