Sen. Ted Cruz finally wrapped up his all-night marathon speech about the need to defund Obamacare at noon on Wednesday, after more than 21 hours on the Senate floor, which even included a reading of Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham.
"Obamacare isn't working," he said. "There are politicians in this body who are not listening to the people."
Cruz, who began his speech on Tuesday at approximately 2:41 p.m, had declared that he intended to speak in opposition of Obamacare until he could no longer stand.

Texas Republican Ted Cruz has once again shown his disapproval of President Obama's health care law.
According to Fox News Latino, Cruz spoke at the Family Leadership Summit on Saturday and told conservative Christians that congressional lawmakers can't be counted on when it comes to Obama's health care initiative "Obamacare."
Cruz received a standing ovation from the crowd for his criticsm.

On the heels of his highly anticipated immigration speech at Del Sol High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, President Obama spoke to two of the country's leading Spanish-language television networks about his immediate plan for immigration reform.
In interview with Telemundo's Jose Diaz-Balart, Obama said he's hopeful an immigration overhaul is something that can get done "certainly this year, and I’d like to see if we can get it done sooner, in the first half of the year if possible."
