We caught up with Dania Ramirez right after she ruled the runway for the official kick off for New York Fashion Week: The Heart Truth’s Red Dress Fashion show. She dished to us on pre-show jitters and rocking her red Catherine Malandrino stunner, as well as the importance of rasing awareness around heart disease—the number one killer of Latina women in the United States.

There’s always a ton of hype surrounding New York Fashion Week. We know you’re probably thinking, “Why should I care about designer runway clothes that only celebrities can afford?” Well, you are only partially right. While Fashion Week may seems like a place for high-society snobs to gather around and obsess about haute couture, it is also the place where trends are set for seasons to come.

Bruno Santos got the most votes this week for Latina.com’s fashion week edition of Crushing On. Thirty one- year-old Santos came from humble beginnings in hometown of Minas Gerais, where he sold trinkets as young boy to help his family, and now he’s one of the most high-demand male models in the fashion world. You may recognize him from the Guess Jeans or Jones New York ads; and with smokin’ looks like these, we're sure they’ll be more for us to drool over in 2011.
