Ricky Martin’s ninth studio album, Musica + Alma + Sexo, introduces listeners to a “new liberated Ricky,” as one fan writes in an iTunes’ customer review.
This is the 39-year-old Boricua’s first production since declaring his homosexuality to the world last March and becoming a dad in 2008, and it’s clear that he’s embracing life.

How cool is it that one of the best Latin selling music artists of all time is teaming up with a hip-hop producer?
Gloria Estefan has been in the studio working with the sensational record producer, Pharrell Williams! Sources say the two are putting together Gloria’s 11th studio album, which is said to be dance-oriented.
Between Pharrell’s producing magic and the Conga singer’s signature rhythmic sounds, we’re expecting something big to come out of this collaboration!

A snippet of a never before released Demi Lovato track has hit the internet! The single, called "Shut Up and Love Me," is an old song and most likely will not make it onto any new album Lovato may release in 2011.
But nonetheless, it's a glimmer of hope for Lovato fans, who have been waiting patiently for the talented singer and actress to come out of rehab. Lovato has been receiving treatment for "emotional and physical issues" at Timberline Knolls, a center located just outside of Chicago in Lemont, Illinois since October, 2010.

We were super excited to hear that Jennifer Lopez was already shooting the music video for her new single, “On the Floor!”
The new American Idol judge looks absolutely stunning (as usual) and the energy of the video really does make you want to just dance."I play one character where she kind of runs this party, acts like she’s kind of over it, but at the same time loves it and loves this kind of underground kind of party dance culture," explains Lopez. "So I got to be wild and crazy, and I got to be sexy and sweet too."

Held in the desert, the three-day outdoor concert features over 150 acts, from folk rock newbies like Mumford & Sons to respected songstresses like Ms. Lauryn Hill, plus a dozen or so Latin performers sprinkled throughout. Here’s a mash-up of what to expect each day:

Some people are questioning producer RedOne and Jennifer Lopez on the origins of her new single featuring Pitbull, "On the Floor."
Critics are pointing out similarities between the new song and a single Kat de Luna released back in November of 2010 in Europe called "Party O'Clock." We can't lie, the competing dance ditties do share similar lyrics and a general sound—but isn't producer RedOne (who created both songs) more to blame for this faux-pas than either of these Latin divas?
