There was some confusion on the web about the nationality of 10-year-old YouTube singing sensation Maria Aragon. While we clearly would love to claim the little girl who can out sing Lady Gaga, her YouTube bio info clearly identifies her as a Canadian Filipina. That got us thinking, do you ever assume someone is Latino based on last name alone?
Latina, Filipina, Canadian, American—either way girl can sing and her YouTube channel has some other covers you might like, including one Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are."

Check out the new music video for Juan Luis Guerra's latest single "Lola's Mambo" off his album A Son de Guerra. The fun video does a great job embodying the energy of the song and makes you feel like dancing uncontrollably, just like the star of the video does!

We must admit, Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae’s electrifying performance at this year’s Grammys definitely left us wanting more. So when it was announced that the two would be performing together for their North American Hooligans in Wondaland tour, we were more than thrilled! The tour begins May 4th at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom and will conclude June 15th at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix. Joining the tour are Plan B and Mayer Hawthorne & The Country on selected dates.

Warner Music Mexico just announced that Maná will be releasing their new studio album Drama Y Luz on April 12. The iconic Mexican rock band hasn’t released a new album in five years, since Amar Es Combatir, which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and managed to move over a million copies in a depressed musical climate. The album was followed up by a two-year run of sold-out concerts around the world, making it the band’s longest and most successful tour, which is probably why the pressure is on with this one. But don’t expect the band to rush anything out the door.

A few weeks ago, Jenni Rivera told us that she teamed up with Ricky Martin in the studio to re-record the first hit single off of his new album, Música+Alma+Sexo, "Lo Mejor de mi Vida Eres Tu"—a song he's already recorded in English with Joss Stone and in Spanish with Natalia Jimenez.
