While we clearly would love to claim the little girl who can out sing Lady Gaga, her YouTube bio info clearly identifies her as a Canadian Filipina. That got us thinking, do you ever assume someone is Latino based on last name alone?

Details On Maná’s Comeback Emerge

Warner Music Mexico just announced that Maná will be releasing their new studio album Drama Y Luz on April 12. The iconic Mexican rock band hasn’t released a new album in five years, since Amar Es Combatir, which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and managed to move over a million copies in a depressed musical climate. The album was followed up by a two-year run of sold-out concerts around the world, making it the band’s longest and most successful tour, which is probably why the pressure is on with this one. But don’t expect the band to rush anything out the door.
