Earlier this week we posted a snippet of “Promise, the latest single off Romeo Santos’ highly anticipated debut solo album. Much to our surprise, the song features R&B superstar Usher. We were extremely delighted to see the Aventura frontman feature him – bachata is a first for Usher. On the set of the video, which the pair recently shot in New York, Usher said it simply: “That’s what we’re doing here today – making history.”

Why? Well, mainly because the Doo-wops & Hooligans singer just seems a little bit, um, on the softer side of things to be making an appearance on the album of these hard core Detroit natives.
