Just like the big-haired, neon-colored, sex-and-coke-addled decade it ridicules/eulogizes, Hot Tub Time Machine is an unapologetic, raunchy good time. Never mind that the WTF title is as sophisticated as Snakes on a Plane—that’s actually part of the charm. Go with the absurdity and it’ll be as good a time as The Hangover.

A boy who is a little different than those around him learns to use his oddity to come of age and help others. Pretty standard kid’s story/book/movie setup, right? But in How to Train Your Dragon, it’s the premise for an engaging, layered movie that blends drama and comedy beautifully and uses 3-D in a way that will set the standard for animated kid flicks.

The Bounty Hunter stars Jennifer Aniston’s hair and body, and they are equally awesome. Her famous beach-blond locks swirl and swing sexily, her uber-toned body announces, “Hey, don’t I look amazing for 40?” in every single shot. And boy, do her hair and body make a great couple! They have way more chemistry than Aniston and Gerald Butler, at least. The duo play bickering exes in The Bounty Hunter, a tired, unfunny, romance-action adventure that clocks in at a life-draining 110 minutes.

If there was anyone left unconvinced after Avatar’s dominance, this weekend proved that 3-D is here to stay: Alice in Wonderland owned the box office for a second week in a row, earning a huge $62 million, for a total of $209 million. Matt Damon’s action war pic Green Zone managed to come in at #2 despite so-so reviews, but earned just $14 million—basically a bomb for the star and his Bourne director, Paul Greengrass.

Could we be any more psyched about this?!? I think not! Word on the street is that Kenny Ortega (of High School Musical and This Is It fame) has been hired by Universal Pictures to helm the big screen adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda's ground breaking musical, In the Heights.
