It's a wonder fireworks didn't explode when Jennifer Lopez and Angelina Jolie met for a brief moment last night, wearing their red carpet finest to the L.A. premiere of Brad Pitt's new movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Here, our imagined exchange between the two stars:
Angelina: Jennifer, your ivory Roberto Cavalli gown is to die for. How do you get your cleavage to stay perched so firmly upright?
Jennifer: The same way you get your waist to look so impossibly slim under that Ralph Lauren gown, girl.

It pains us to deliver this news, but Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem's seemingly perfect relationship looks like it could be headed for trouble. Guillermo Del Toro is a busy man, and he's about to get even busier. The Hellboy II and Pan's Labyrinth director has just added the fairy tale Pinocchio to a long list of films he is currently developing, including Frankenstein, The Hobbit, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. But don't expect his take on the boy-turned-puppet to look anything like the sanitized Disney classic.

Jennifer Lopez may not have a nanny in real life (ahem, yeah right), but she'll play one on the big screen. Taking a break from creating fragrances, clothing lines, and mediocre pop albums, Jennifer is ready to get back on the big screen with The Governess, a romantic comedy in which she will play a professional thief who, in order to pull off a major bank heist, poses as a nanny to the three unruly children of a wealthy widower. When she starts to fall for the kids and their father, she must decide if she can give up her past for a chance to start over.

Penelope Cruz may be on top of her game these days (red-hot career, gorgeous boyfriend, looks that could kill), but she wasn't always living the life of an A-lister. The normally reclusive Spanish star reveals a side of herself to W magazine we've never seen before—vulnerable, insecure, and impossibly shy for a woman whose every move is clocked by paparazzi.
